Natural Therapy Session
A Natural Therapy Session incorporates 3 types of therapy, Massage, Red Light Therapy and Crystal Therapy.
Sessions generally take around 1 hour but can vary slightly depending on your pet and how they respond to the treatment.
This treatment is available as a mobile service, meaning I can come to you.
What to Expect
We use a light therapeutic massage to calm the dog or cat down. Its called Myotherapy and can help engage the sympathetic nervous system, using mostly pure nervous reflex techniques. ie.subtle, light pressure, low risk techniques that provide all the benefits of the therapeutic effect on the body. We will then work with our Red Light Therapy or Crystals depending on how the pet is and where the pet is at in relaxation.
Photonic Therapy is a natural therapy, which when used correctly, promotes the body’s own healing and immune responses.
Put simply, Red Light Therapy is a scientifically advanced form of acupuncture, using red light instead of needles, to stimulate recognised acupuncture points, promoting healing by altering the electrical field potential in the skin. The red light’s energy, known as photons, are changed into electrical energy by the connective tissue under our skin and this electrical energy is transmitted to the brain by our nervous system.
Stimulating specific combinations of points on the skin causes the brain to release particular hormones and additional chemical substances which relieve pain, increase immune response and promote healing.
How Long Does it take?
Our services can take up to an hour. So please allow enough time. It is hard to estimate how long your pet will take to relax. We need you to be patient and be willing to relax also with your pet.
Where can I get this Therapy for my pet?
We offer 2 options either at our premises or yours.
The price is the same unless you are located further that 15 minutes from us, which will incur an additional travel fee of $10.
